Animal Farm By George Orwell

Animal Farm is a political allegory written by George Orwell and translated by Suraiya Akhter Jahan. The book tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be free and equal.

George Orwell was a British author and journalist best known for his works Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm, both of which are widely regarded as classics of dystopian literature. Orwell was a democratic socialist deeply critical of totalitarianism, and his experiences fighting in the Spanish Civil War and working as a journalist in England and India informed his writing.

Suraiya Akhter Jahan is a Bangladeshi translator who has translated several works of literature into Bengali, including Animal Farm. She is known for her political and social commentary translations, and her work has been widely praised for its accuracy and readability.
